Branding techniques

We always choose the right method and ink based on the specific job. Factors like the artwork's pattern, saturation, colors, size, placement, quantity, and the product itself all play a role.

The Process

In the case of direct printing, the screen ink is applied directly onto the textile product.

Preparation Steps

Artwork Preparation: We require vector graphics for production. However, even with a perfect vector file, color separation, scaling, and checking/adjusting design details and line weights are still required.
Film Output / Film Positives: A separate film is created for each color and print size (these are archived and stored by us).
Screen Making: Screens are made individually for each color and size based on the films. A screen setup fee applies to every production run (as a discount, this fee is waived for reorders placed within two months).

Price and color calculation

Color Change: On dark vs. light backgrounds, or with different colored base products, clients may request different print colors. In this case, the screen must be washed, which incurs an additional fee.
Setup/Reset Fee: This applies if the order includes both t-shirts and canvas bags, as these products must be printed in opposite directions.
Screen Sizes: Screens are available in A/4 or A/3 sizes.
Special Inks & High Coverage: Extra colors, designs exceeding 30% ink coverage, and glitter, glow-in-the-dark, or UV-reactive inks are subject to a surcharge.
Dark Backgrounds: When printing light-colored ink onto dark products, multiple layers of ink are required, which is generally counted as two colors.

Deadline

The general lead time is approx. 1 week, which also depends on the busyness of our workshops. If there is a specific deadline that you specify, in that case, we will undertake the work if we can solve it within that time.
